BalancePoint Federal Services, a privately held Missouri LLC, is headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri in the
Crown Center area of midtown in close proximity to downtown, the Country Club Plaza, and neighboring communities in Johnson County, Kansas and Missouri.
The principals, who originally formed BalancePoint Corp in 2004, later joined forces with veteran owners to launch BalancePoint Federal Services, a stand-alone company. They united by common goals of serving both the public and private sector and actively recruiting veterans and service disabled veterans. Drawing on over 250 collective years of staffing and workforce solutions experience, BalancePoint Federal Services is extremely well positioned to incorporate the most advanced staffing and project management methods for effective and timely solutions to all clients. These solutions are in Information Technology, Architecture and Engineering, Accounting and Finance, Scientific as well as Administrative and Clerical support staff.
| BPFS is led by Terry Holshouser who was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star for Valor during combat in the Republic of Vietnam. He has extensive experience in IT, Telecommunications, and Construction Management and has been a Principal Program Manager with Sprint, the Nordex Division of Nortel and Simpler Networks. Mr. Holshouser has extensive experience in Construction General Management and Program/Project Management. In addition to his day-to-day involvement with BalancePoint Federal Services Terry, is an Adjunct Professor of Business with Park University, Parkville, MO. |  |

We have developed a team of design and construction professional that can deliver a LEED project tested envelope that out performs typical construction envelopes. The team has a passion for design and delivery of sustainable buildings with integrated design of the the envelope and all systems within the building to provide "human need" based buildings that make an impact contribution to good earth stewardship with a balance between budget and the site.

Study of assembly space and the effectives of light control devices on solar penetration in the extremes of the solar calendar. The comparison shows that July has limited direct gain light exposure while January sun is more intense and welcomed for the solar heat gain that it provides. Results of a time lapsed 12 hour sequence of light movement in the space at the extreme solar conditions. Shade devices are proven effective by these studies. |
